What is GROUP?

Group is our very own, small group personal training service. Based on training in groups of no more than 4 people this is the perfect mix of personal training and exercise classes, training in an upbeat and fun group atmosphere at the same time as received an incredible level of hands on coaching.

 

Why did we create GROUP?

We created Group because we wanted to offer you the perfect blend of both personal training and group training, at an affordable price point.

 

What is the difference between the exercise classes and GROUP training?

Our exercise classes often have anywhere between 6-10 people in them. Our classes change every week so clients always have something new to look forward to, and ultimately never get bored. Group is more structured around the 16 week programs that we successfully apply to our personal training sessions.

 

What does a typical GROUP session look like?

Group has been structured around 3 main areas, they are; mobility, strength and cardio.

All our sessions will start with 5-10 minutes of full body mobility work which will keep your joints mobile and functional in both the gym and in the outside, day to day world. We will then work through our strength section of the workout, which is where we focus on developing perfect, safe technique whilst building confidence and strength. The sessions will then finish with a cardio section, often in the form of a small and simple circuit aimed to get the heart rate up and sweat on.

 

We believe by working on these three areas we cover all bases in terms of staying physically fit throughout life.

 

Who is GROUP for?

Honestly, group is perfect for anyone. The group of no more than 4 people plus the high level of attention to detail and coaching means the class is inviting and perfect for beginners. The sessions are also set up so you can work at your own level so maybe if you are a bit more advanced, that is fine, you will never be held back.

 

What if I need guidance staying healthy outside of the GROUP sessions?

As with our exercise class timetable you can purchase our add on coached service, this is a chance to work with us on a 1 to 1 basis looking at such as nutrition, lifestyle and healthy habit building which are all vital but often do not get too much attention in the actual sessions due to lack of time. This is a full 1 to 1 service delivered remotely via the Turn Up Training app.

 

When is GROUP and how much does it cost?

Our sessions will take place every Monday at 9:30am and last for 60 minutes. 

The cost is £80 per month on a non-contract, direct debit.

We offer a free 2 week trial so you can see if you like the sessions before signing up.
